This closer was designed with an oversize bar to work on practically any lathe with morse taper 3 spindle. The handle is secured to the bar with 4 setscrews. The idea is that once you are happy with the length you have adjusted it to, then you will trim the back end of the bar off. You can optionally drill small divots in the bar for the setscrews but this isnt needed. I would use some lock-tight on them though.

5V Van Norman C Shell Mill Holder Set -5 pc

Tools4cheap Exclusive!! Brand New 5pc 5V / Van Norman C type shell mill holder sets. Sizes are 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1-1/4, 1-1/2" All holders have slots for use with drive pins and provision for spindle keyway. Note: the mfg supplied the wrong size screw heads on the 3 smallest holders as shown in the photo, i now have some larger ones that i will also include. Note: the body length on these is slightly longer than the collets i make and than what I think is standard. I have had 1 customer who has reported that his drawbar length was now too long to tighten them in fully and he had to make a ring/bushing to put over his drawbar to get them fully tight. Most customers have not had any issue so i guess it depends on the particular drawbar.

Aloris AXA-15 LH Profiling Tool Holder

Aloris AXA-19 Adjustable Knurling Holder

ALORIS ADJUSTABLE KNURLING HOLDER …excellent knurling, with approach adjustability, is provided with the newly designed #19 knurling holder. The #19 is selfcentering and is adjusted by means of a socket head screw (no longer has the knob as shown), providing the ideal near-vertical-axis approach angle for a wide range of stock diameters. Spindle and crossslide pressure are minimal, thus knurling of thin wall tubing is easily performed. The Aloris #19, which is designed for use in any standard turret tool post or other open-slot holder, is also availalbe with dovetail mounting (series 19) to fit Aloris tool posts. Precision ground, 3/4" O.D. x 3/8" wide, high-speed medium diamond knurls are supplied unless otherwise specified.
