Teco VFD Drives are a popular way to run 3 phase motors on single phase power
They also provide variable speed control for your motor.
When running a fan cooled motor at slow speeds for extended periods of time, its a good idea to add an external fan to the motor
It should be wired such that the connection between the motor and the VFD is not broken. The VFD should be used to reverse the motor.
